A recent visit to Porchester Castle. It was truely inspirational.
It's as a history stretching back for more than 1700 years.

If you look at some of the walls, you can see
three different types of stone, from the 3 periods when it has been rebuilt.
I'd recommend a visit for anyone in the area, especially on a warm summer's day.
